This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, processed, collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the DocSphere mobile application.

1. Information We Access and Process

DocSphere may access files, images, PDFs, or camera input when you actively choose to use features that require them.

Access to files is intended to provide the feature you specifically requested.

2. Your Files and Documents

DocSphere is designed as a document and file utility application. For features implemented locally, selected files are processed on your device to perform operations such as scanning, cropping, rotating, creating PDFs, compressing files, unlocking supported PDFs, and checking embedded PDF digital signatures.

DocSphere does not intentionally upload your documents to a remote server for local-only features unless a future version explicitly introduces a cloud-based feature or service and the relevant privacy disclosures are updated.

Your control: You choose which files to select and process. The app is intended to access files only as needed to provide the functionality you request.

3. PDF Passwords

The Unlock PDF feature may require you to enter the correct password for a password-protected PDF.

The password is intended to be used only for the unlocking operation and is not intended to be permanently stored as part of normal app operation.

DocSphere does not provide password cracking, brute-force password guessing, or bypassing of unknown passwords.

4. PDF Digital Signature Verification

DocSphere may analyze supported embedded digital signature information in a PDF to provide verification results and related details.

The verification feature is intended to check available digital signature and certificate information. It does not convert an invalid, untrusted, expired, revoked, or otherwise unverifiable signature into a valid or trusted signature.

5. Device Permissions

DocSphere may request device permissions only when they are needed for a feature you choose to use.

Camera

Camera access may be requested when you use the document scanning feature. The camera is used to capture document images.

Photos, Media, and Files

Depending on your Android version and the app's implementation, DocSphere may use Android system file pickers, photo pickers, or supported storage access mechanisms to allow you to select files and save output files.

6. Advertising

DocSphere may display advertisements in versions of the app where advertising services, such as Google AdMob, are integrated.

Advertising SDKs may collect or receive certain device, identifier, diagnostic, interaction, network, or advertising-related information depending on the advertising provider and configuration used.

Such information may be used for purposes including advertising, ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and improving advertising services.

Where required, consent choices or other privacy controls may be provided according to applicable requirements and the advertising implementation.

7. Third-Party Services

DocSphere may use third-party services or software development kits (SDKs) to provide advertising, diagnostics, analytics, or other services if such services are integrated into the app.

Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

8. Data Sharing

DocSphere does not sell users' personal or sensitive data.

Information may be transmitted when necessary to provide an integrated service, when you actively choose to share a file using Android's sharing features, or when information is processed by an integrated third-party SDK such as an advertising provider.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to support the secure handling of information processed through DocSphere. However, no method of electronic storage, processing, or transmission is completely secure.

Users should take appropriate precautions when handling sensitive or confidential documents.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Files created or saved by DocSphere may remain on your device until you delete them using DocSphere, your device's file manager, or another available method.

Temporary files created during processing may be deleted when they are no longer required, depending on the implementation of the relevant feature.

11. Children's Privacy

DocSphere is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the app's functionality.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when DocSphere changes, including when new features, advertising services, third-party SDKs, analytics, cloud processing, or other data practices are introduced.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made.
